This quarter I'm learning about publics and counterpublics (and what those are!) and how they shape our cultural and social practices and codes and how they function in media, new politics, and rhetorics...phew!
Not sure if people want their last names out in Internet lands, but some very exciting work should come out of this collaboration with Ethan and Allison under Laura's expert guidance.

Oh, cool stuff! We read some of Warner and Arendt for Ropes last year — 'twould be interesting to actually read the whole book rather than just a chapter or two.
